I went to go and see Oz The Great and Powerful recently and really enjoyed it! The colours, images and characters were all great and it was a very enjoyable way to spend a Wednesday night.
One character that (my friends..) thought was very relatable to me was China Doll. She was so sweet and vulnerable when you first meet her and then, well, lets just say.. she becomes a bit bossy. As my friends put it:
‘She does what you do, just tells you how it is.’
Charming I think, however I will let them get away with it as, hmm, they are not the first person to say this.
So here is a tribute to all the things I loved in Oz The Great and Powerful.
Firstly China doll, then the moving old fashioned shadow puppets for introductory trailer and also the giant bright flowers that meet Oz when he first arrives in Oz.
