About Thalia from Wild Books
Thalia is a book and plant-loving Sheffield candle maker who lives in Hertfordshire UK. She believes in the importance of escapism to give our minds a break.
Taking locations from inside the pages of your favourite books, a soy vegan candle is created designed to transport you into the world of the book.
When you light a candle, you are sparking hope and you are signalling that you are doing something just for yourself. You are creating a sense of calm which invites a shift of mindset into a state of relaxation.
A key value of Thalia’s is to be kind to the planet. She sources all of her books secondhand, and all of the packaging is recyclable. There is magic in a book that has been loved by someone before you – they have their own story and this continues with each box bought.
Through book gift sets, monthly subscriptions and mindful workshops, you can find a little more quiet in the magic of a story and fully immerse yourself into new worlds.Â
