I was in Dublin just over a year ago with three friends, one being Jemma who I always went to see live music with when she lived in London. While we were there we were looking at a local newspaper over breakfast and saw that The Decemberists were playing that night in Dublin.
We didn’t have tickets but decided to go down on the off chance we could pick some up. Thankfully we found some people who had extras as their friends couldn’t make it so were able to get in.
It was a great gig and such an expected surprise, but a great way to spend the night in Dublin after we had been out for a really good dinner.
