I recently bought a vintage Laura Ashley lace skirt from a local charity shop at home. It is ankle length and beautiful – the scalloped lace edge on the bottom is perfect.
I felt it was quite heavy so being such a fan of the dipped hem style dresses and skirts I decided to take up the under layer of the skirt to make it into a hi lo skirt! A bit like the image above.
I am hoping it will make me wear it that bit more and it has given it a fresh new look as well.
