Earring organisation in a vintage tin

So I have moved into my new home and all settled in now. Hence the lack of blog posts over the last month!

I just wanted to share a few little details of my new room.

One of the first things I wanted to do was to put up a feature wall of pieces I have collected. I have had this Dual Heritage half vase from Designed in England for about three years and never put it up! I also had a vintage wooden ruler I found while clearing out my Grampy’s garage over Christmas, a ‘Think’ wooden lettering from Cox & Cox, a vintage wooden hanger I found in my new wardrobe – great find! As well as a cotton wall hanging from Minna’s Room. I love it and it all hangs proudly over my bed.

When I went home recently I went to a local jumble sale and found this vintage tin – it has 6 circular dishes fastened together on the bottom. I have no idea what it would have been used for however it is the perfect organiser for my earrings – I can find pairs so much more easily now! Plus it leaves my old cut glass holder to perfectly fit my brooches.

And that makes me happy 🙂
