I went to see Lissie on Tuesday at Dingwalls. It was great. Bless her, she was really suffering with a croacky/sore voice however she still sounded great (although I can imagine her voice may not have felt great at the end!) Plus I kept thinking people would probably really like the husky voice sound themselves!
It was a really good gig and she was so sweet about the voice. I have loved listening to her on Spotify and she does some good covers as well.
On a side note I also love Dingwalls as a venue, small but with large stepped platforms, perfect for petite people! Can’t wait to go and see Brother and Bones there on the 28th of this month.
