Thanks for all your love, messages and DMs on my post yesterday 💛. My main takeaway is that it resonated with a lot of people. So if it helps you feel less alone - then I am happy.

My DMs are always open, as knowing you’re not alone is key. Having support from yourself and others is so important.

That’s why I am sharing this now as it’s more from the scar instead of the wound and I have things in place that are shifting the low mood and habits that don’t serve me.

It’s like with marketing your business, if you don’t show up, you won’t get sales, so you feel bad, show up less and sales go down further.

It’s the same with mindset! Bad habits can feel good at the start, but you get stuck in a cycle of reinforcing what is not working and then you have to break out of this.

One thing I have decided to bring back in 2025 is meditation and mindset work to help you while running your business.

2024 was a year of polarities. For the most part,

2024 was a year of polarities. For the most part, I was feeling pretty low TBH. I felt my income had taken a hit, I was lonely and so stuck in a cycle of feeling good when I was with people but feeling hopeless when I was alone.

So I spent a long time reviewing 2024, from what actually happened in my business to really seeing what happened each month to spot signs of what was going on and how I felt.

And guess what… there were more highs than I thought.

My income was steady from the past few years - that was actually a big shock so a reminder to always actually LOOK AT YOUR NUMBERS and don’t assume.

And although there were a lot of low points in my personal life, from reflecting on each month I could see what did make me feel good and what did push me to progress and have purpose.

So this year I have been making changes. I am currently taking an NHS low mood course (as we all need help at times), meal planning nourishing food, working out more and removing habits that don’t help me - like falling asleep to Netflix.

It’s new year, new start vibes - but things are shifting which feels good.

I do wonder if you’ll be surprised to hear all of this. As I am often seen as a bubbly, social, and maybe even confident person. Which I can be. But I do well when I am around others. So I am putting changes in place to ensure that my days include being around people more.

Hello to more co-working, coffee shop laptop time and joining a gym.

I can share more on this process if it would be useful from a self-employed business mindset and process perspective. We all have challenges, but it’s how we get support, view them and the small changes we continue to make.

I wasn’t intending on putting my Christmas tree

I wasn’t intending on putting my Christmas tree up this early, but as friends were coming to visit last weekend I wanted the house to be cosy and it’s made me feel so festive 🥰

And it’s worked! I LOVE fairy lights and so happy they’re all around my home now. Plus Lani is leaving the tree alone so that’s a win! 🐱
