The Pantone Colour of the Year 2021 has been announced and there are two of them! Ultimate Gray + Illuminating Yellow.
2016 was the only other time Pantone has two colours, in the two decades they have been doing the colour of the year.
I got together with my friend, Elizabeth Stiles who is a fashion brand consultant to talk about the Pantone Colour of the Year 2021. We discussed the Pantone Colour of the Year in 2019 too! Before I dive into our discussion of these colours, here’s what Pantone said about the colours of the year 2021:
