2012 was the first year for my blog Arnold and Bird. It all started on 17 May as a tribute to my Grampy and a way to dedicate myself to my love of blogs, design, curiosities and the soundtrack to it all!
I have learnt a lot, with still much to learn, perfect and do. Blogging regularly, finding regular posts I love doing and taking bad pictures has all been part of it.
I am using Christmas as a way to reflect on 2012 and also make my plans for 2013. I made a few this year and found it really useful, I have ticked more off this list than I thought I would so that made me very happy.
I wanted to end 2012 with a round up of some of my favourite posts so I hope you enjoy them.
Here is to a bright, sparkling and wonderful 2013!
xx
Niki Pilkington’s illustrations are one of my favourites.
My mood board on feathers and fashion was one of my favourites and continues to be one of my most clicked posts as well!
Making a hard back bound book at the Make Lounge this year was one of my favourite activities with my friend Gemma!
The little details of Venice was my first real outing with my SLR and I loved it.
The Mr Brainwash exhibition was brilliant and I love this mood board made with the photos I took. Thank you Big Scary Tees for taking me!
I loved the designs of Helen Bridges, I also loved the addition of a weekly post called curiosities of the week – it is one of my favourite posts to do.
Brother & Bones is one of my new favourite bands for this year and I have loved seeing them twice.
Our alternative Christmas decorations looked wonderful and I had a brilliantly festive day creating them with Kat!
Doing this round up has been so nice, it is really good to take time out and reflect on what you have done.
2013 here I come!
